Lake Town is the name of our Children's Ministry
Each age-appropriate group has its own area and activities designed for the children that participate in that group.

Newborn through Pre-K
We have a wonderful Children's area for Newborns through Pre-K. The tiniest of our church family is nestled in the Treetop Cradle Nursery.

The LakeTown Treehouse Troop is for the 4-5 years old and the LakeTown Sandbox is for toddlers thru 3 years old.

Our mission is to majestically love, care for and teach children about Jesus. You can be assured that our nursery workers and volunteers will be attentive to your child. Children will find loving caregivers in their room who will take the time to play, talk and sing with each child. Our infants are cuddled and rocked with love. We do not leave children to "cry it out." If your child does cry, we will do everything we can to calm and reassure them. The more consistently you bring them to church, the quicker your child will feel more comfortable in the nursery.

All toys are properly washed and disinfected on a regular basis. Every crib sheet, blanket and burp cloth is changed after each use. Special care is taken with diaper changing and disposal. When your child needs to be changed, the caregiver's hands are sanitized before and after each diaper change along with rubber gloves.

We will provide goldfish and animal crackers for snacks. Please inform our caregivers if you do not want your child to receive a snack.

Our Preschool Curriculum is very interactive. Bible Stories come to life as your child actively joins in through actions, pantomimes, and questions.

The minutes before and after worship can be busy for everyone. The following suggestions should help with a smooth transition.

1. Arrive early whenever possible (10-15 minutes is ideal)

2. Please register your child at the Welcome Center and notify the staff if there are any special instructions.

3. Have all diaper bags, bottles and other personal items marked with your child's name.

LakeTown Kids Club (Kindergarten through Fourth Grade)
Children are important to us at Lake Church, so we created an environment just for them. Feel free to visit our LakeTown Kids Club.

Kids Club Theatre hosts 1st-4th grade students.

The Lakehouse hosts our Preteens & Youth.

Our mission with our children's ministry is to provide a safe and fun environment with exciting and age appropriate activities and lessons, to help children grow in the word of God, leading them to a lifelong relationship with Jesus.
