Helping Our Community

Lake Church Food Ministry was started May, 2010. As the idea of a Food Ministry was introduced and the need for this outreach was needed in our community, we started building a food pantry building to help facilitate giving out food to families in our area.  Our building was finished in August 2011 and we were able to really help the families of Montgomery.  We are an agency of the Montgomery County Food Bank and part of the Feed America Program.

Our Food Outreach is the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month.   We do require an ID for anyone over 21 in your household and we have an application for the families to complete once a year.     We try to provide canned goods, produce, bread, meat and other items for each distribution.
